This policy explains what personal data fypp ("we", "us") collects when you interact with our website and services, why we collect it, and your rights under the GDPR and other applicable laws.

1. Data controller

The data controller for personal data processed via fypp is fypp. You can contact us at privacy@fypp.app.

2. What we collect

• Email address — when you join the waitlist.
• Audience signal — whether you joined as a creator, a brand, or via the homepage.
• Technical logs — IP, user agent and timestamp, kept for security and abuse prevention.

3. Why we collect it

• To email you product updates, launch announcements and early-access invitations.
• To segment communications based on whether you're a creator or a brand.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.

The legal basis is your explicit consent, given when you check the consent box on the waitlist form. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who processes your data

We rely exclusively on European sub-processors:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — hosting for the website and the self-hosted mailing list (Listmonk).
• Brevo SAS (France) — transactional SMTP used by Listmonk to deliver confirmation and newsletter emails.
• Gandi SAS (France) — domain registrar and DNS.

5. International transfers

fypp does not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. All processing and storage happens on EU-owned infrastructure operated within the EU.

6. Retention

Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Technical logs are kept for up to 30 days.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify incorrect data.
• Request deletion ("right to be forgotten").
• Request portability of your data.
• Object to processing or withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (e.g. the CNIL in France).

8. Cookies

fypp does not use tracking cookies. The only state we store in your browser is a session cookie strictly necessary to operate the site.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email to waitlist subscribers.
